The Tigers picked up SS Adam Everett and traded for C Gerald Laird of the Rangers. The Rangers received two pitching prospects for Laird. Is this the answer to our problems? Probably not, we will have to wait and see.

Dont really know anything about the 2 players except that the catcher cant be any worse at hitting the ball than Inge. Dont get me wrong I love Brandon and what he brings at 3rd base, but his strikeouts are terrible at times.

Yea, Inge can make some amazing plays at 3rd base, but sometimes I wonder if his defense is worth the hitting woes. Neither player is spectacular, but we don't need any more spectacular players, just look what happened to us last year.
