Detroit's Interests:
No. 10: Angel Pagan, Outfielder
Status: Available
Position Rank: No. 4 OF
2012 Stats: 8 HR, 56 RBI, .288 AVG, .788 OPS

Why He's a Good Target: Angel Pagan was one of the main reasons that the Giants were able to bring another World Series back to San Francisco. He was a force in the outfield as well as on the basepaths. He's one of the fastest players on the market, stealing 29 bases in 2012 and also leading the league in triples with 15.

Top Suitors: Giants, Tigers, Phillies, Nationals

Rumors Update: The Giants decided not to submit a qualifying offer to Pagan, a move that does not mean San Francisco is not interested in bringing him back, according to CSN Bay Area's Andrew Baggarly. The Tigers, Phillies and Nationals are also in the mix, according to the Detroit Free Pressvia Jim Bowden of ESPN.

No. 12: Anibal Sanchez, Starting Pitcher
No Bio needed.

No. 13: Nick Swisher, Outfielder
Status: Available
Position Rank: No. 5 OF
2012 Stats: 24 HR, 93 RBI, .272 AVG, .837 OPS

Why He's a Good Target: Swisher is one of the top outfielders on the market because of his power potential and ability to play either corner outfield position and first base. He always had power when with the A's and White Sox, but he really shined while playing at Yankee Stadium. He's also hit at least 30 doubles every season he's been with New York.

Top Suitors: Yankees, Red Sox, Tigers, Dodgers

Rumors Update: Swisher will decline the qualifying offer that the Yankees gave up and pursue a large contract on the open market, according to Dan Martin and George A. King III of The New York Post. Swisher would still like to re-sign would the Yankees, though, according Jeff Bradley and Andy McCullough of the the Star-Ledger.

No. 17: Rafael Soriano, Reliever
Status: Available
Position Rank: No. 2 RP
2012 Stats: 2-1, 2.26 ERA, 67.2 IP, 69 K

Why He's a Good Target: Rafael Soriano was much better than expected when he had to become the closer of the Yankees after Mariano Rivera's injury. Soriano saved 42 games for the Bronx Bombers and pitched much better as the closer in 2012 than he did as the setup man in 2011. In the past three years, he's proved that he's a very dependable relief pitcher.

Top Suitors: Yankees, Tigers

Rumors Update: The Yankees extended a qualifying offer to Soriano, according to Danny Knobler of CBS Sports, but if he returned, it would most likely be as the setup man to Rivera. New York GM Brian Cashman thinks Soriano wants "closer money", according to Wallace Matthews of ESPN New York.
