I'm not sure, but I think that you have to be in the All-Star game to be in the derby.

I love Da Meat Hook's name, but how did he get it?

No idea. I would guess 'cause he swings heavy. It's cool though :D.

Tigers were lucky with the rainout in Baltimore to get national coverage on back to back nights on ESPN. I was glad to see 'em take care of business when the world is watching.

I am still waiting for Chris Shelton to start to play like his homely-looking self! That kid is simply mashing.

Its funny that LionsFan mentions that FLA actually wanted Higgy's pathetic arse and we declined to deal him because FLA wouldn't pick up enough of his contract. Great. Now we get to pay all of his contract while he just carouses around Detroit harassing our daughters.... new_all_coholic.gif

My favorite day ever as a Lions fan.

Somehow landing the Ndamo-nator would be the second best day ever.

He sure doesn't look like a slugger, does he.

But he is hitting the lights out, and I think he will be a mainstay in our lineup for years. headbang.gif

The only guy I can think of that looked that homely yet still swung such a mean bat is Rusty Staub.
