IMO Walker isn't going anywhere... He simply pitched too damn good last year.
Grilli is more of a locker-room presence than he is a pitcher on this team... The guy is a riot and keeps everyone loose, but I don't like him pitching.
IMO replacing Grilli with Mesa is an addition, but it might be for depth too... We weren't lookin' so hot down the stretch last year when guys started getting injured, and when JL wanted to rest some guys.. We might send Grilli to the minors and have him as our Bobby Seay, Jordan Tata, or Romon Colon type of guy... The guy that we brign up to rest one of our regulars, or the guy we bring up on injury... I like the signing...
