 Tigs Can't Buy a F*ckin' Break...
Neffi Perez is suspended 80games for his 2nd positive test this season... Looks like we won't be seeing him at all for the rest of the season... So much for our defensive replacement for Guillen...
Andrew Miller is on the 15 day DL for a hammy...
Thames is out hurt (I believe with a hammy too)...
Kenny Rogers is on the 15 day DL too...
Hopefully we find ourselves out of this slump soon...

Don't forget Sheffield and Zumaya. Sheffield should be back this week though, and Zumaya later this month. It will all work itself out.

Also, don't forget we have lost 5 in a row and 11 of our last 13. We have 4 games against Tampa starting tonight. Hopefully, we'll get our breaks against Tampa....

At least Jones didn't blow a save last night!

Hopefully they got the one break they need to send them on their way last night. Last night's game was huge... We won a game that we typically lose as of late.

And Rodney pitched a 1-2-3 8th inning, something we did on the regular last year. Also, did you see Guillen at DH last night? He almost hit for the cycle!
Well, these next 6 games are important against the Rays and the A's. We need to beat up on these mediocre teams before we play the Yanks and Indians for 13 straight games!

I agree... Rodney was awesome and much needed, but we got a bounce here and there, and IMO that was the difference... We couldn't buy a break before yesterday's game... Casey's HR was HUGE, Guillen was HUGE, that dropped ball in left field was HUGE.... we were the ones on the bad end of "the bounce" in almost EACH of those last 13 losses... Stastically unprobable, but damn if it didn't happen that way... Remember Inge's HR that was about 4" foul? Remember Monroe's ground rule double that was JUST past the foul line? little things like that kill offensive runs... Hopefully we got the monkey off of our back and we can start playing confident baseball again!...
