 Next coach??
If this whole rumors about LB leaving us to join Cleveland as there GM; who would be our next coach??
I'm going to say Phil Jackson, It kinda would be like having LB here still, just a whole new Philosophy.... BTW LB needs to leave, its obvious our players lost respect for his rectum, thats the reason why were down in the series, and we need a new coaching start; not that Larry done bad its just... IDK really

I could see Jackson, but I am not sure that would be a great fit. Detroit would do better with an X and O guy and defensive coach rather than the zen guy. Sure, he is okay as an X and O guy, but he really lived off great talent in my opinion and his greatest strength was managing troublesome personalities. There is no need for that in Detroit.

The next coach of the Pistons will be Flip Saunders.

I like McMillan because he puts a lot of heart into the games, gets along with players well, and turned a terrible lottery team into a team that lost to the NBA champs.
Flip Saunders ran the T'Wolves into the ground this year.

ESPN said that McMillan would most likely be the next coach if LB left.

It is really only between 2 guys if LB decides to leave: Saunders and McMillan. There is reports saying that Saunders is going to the Bucks since they fired Ported. As for McMillan, we cannot talk to him until June 30th when his contract expires. That may be perfect timing, because LB is going to the Mayo Clinic right after the draft on Tuesday, the 28th. So he should have a definitive answer a few days after that. I think the only reason McMillan would turn us down would be because he has been in Seattle for his whole career, playing and coaching.

I have this gut feeling LB will stay.

I think that would be great if he came back. Other than his off the court drama, he is still the best coach for this team. I'm sure Darko won't be too happy, but we can send him down to the NBDL team for some playing time. We should know LB's decision before the end of the week.

If LB doesn't come back, then yeah I have to agree with Flip Saunders.

I cant see LB leaving for at least another season. He has such fire and passion for the game that the only position that will satisfy him is courtside.
