Post If we could only find a Press that could give this speech...
I received this in an email:

Quote:
WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT TO TURN ON THE TV AND HEAR ANY U.S. PRESIDENT, DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN, GIVE THE FOLLOWING SPEECH?

My Fellow Americans: As you all know, the defeat of Iraq regime has been completed. Since congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our mission in Iraq is complete. This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces from Iraq. This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now to begin the reckoning.

Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short. The United Kingdom, Spain, Bulgaria, Australia, and Poland are some of the countries listed there. The other list contains everyone not on the first list. Most of the world's nations are on that list. My press secretary will be distributing copies of both lists later this evening.

Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases immediately and indefinitely. The money saved during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi war. The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world Hell-holes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption. Need help with a famine? Wrestling with an epidemic? Call France. In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect this money toward solving the vexing social problems we still have at home.

On that note, a word to terrorist organizations. Screw with us and we will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth. Thirsting for a gutsy country to terrorize? Try France, or maybe China. I am ordering the immediate severing of diplomatic relations with France, Germany, and Russia. Thanks for all your help, comrades. We are retiring from NATO as well. Bon chance, mes amis. I have instructed the Mayor of New York City to begin towing the many UN diplomatic vehicles located in Manhattan with more than two unpaid parking tickets to sites where those vehicles will be stripped, shredded and crushed. I don't care about whatever treaty pertains to this. You creeps have tens of thousands of unpaid tickets. Pay those tickets tomorrow or watch your precious Benzes, Beamers and limos be turned over to some of the finest chop shops in the world. I love New York

A special note to our neighbors. Canada is on List 2. Since we are likely to be seeing a lot more of each other, you folks might want to try not pissing us off for a change. Mexico is also on List 2. President Fox and his entire corrupt government really need an attitude adjustment. I will have a couple extra tank and infantry divisions sitting around. Guess where I am going to put em? Yep, border security. So start doing something with your oil. Oh, by the way, the United States is abrogating the NAFTA treaty - starting now. We are tired of the one-way highway. Immediately, we'll be drilling for oil in Alaska - which will take care of this country's oil needs for decades to come. If you're an environmentalist who opposes this decision, I refer you to List 2 above: pick a country and move there. They care. It is time for America to focus on its own welfare and its own citizens. Some will accuse us of isolationism. I answer them by saying, "darn tootin." Nearly a century of trying to help folks live a decent life around the world has only earned us the undying enmity of just about everyone on the planet. It is time to eliminate hunger in America. It is time to eliminate homelessness in America. It is time to eliminate World Cup Soccer from America. To the nations on List 1, a final thought. Thanks guys. We owe you and we won't forget. To the nations on List 2, a final thought: You might want to learn to speak Arabic. God bless America. Thank you and good night. If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you are reading it in English, thank a soldier.

It would be so refreshing to actually hear a President give this speech, but I know it will never happen. too many freaking do-gooders.......

I would rather have this speech:

Quote:
My fellow Americans,

I sent our brave Men and Women into battle in Iraq to die over false pretenses.

I am sorry,

The President

If I might add to that speech:

"As for those countries that are members of OPEC, the American Government will retain the services of all construction and oil drilling personnel who are experts in the oil platform and refinery fields. ALL those buildings in your countries that were designed, excavated, constructed and financed by American based petroleum companies will be immediately destroyed and all equipment that can be moved, will be moved onto cargo planes and returned to the USA. Any opposition by your military or 'rebel' forces with be dealt with by our own military in an overwhelmingly powerful manner so as to fully protect our citizens and destroy with extreme prejudice those who seek to keep us from recouping what property is rightfully ours. At that point, you will no longer have the machinery, knowledge or capability of producing or refining petroleum for quite some time. Good Luck!"

I agree Wags. Anyone who thinks that Iraq was not producing chemicals intended for use in weapons is living in NeverLand Ranch. Were that the case, why all the bullshit with not allowing UN inspectors in the palaces, schools, etc. Why all the problems leading up to this action? Hussein certainly posed an 'imminent threat' to surrounding countries, and was know to harbor and train terrorist factions. Deal with it.

If they so certaintly did have weapons of mass warfare, why did Condoleeza Rice come out and say that they didn't have any such weapons on national TV? It was on 60 Minutes or Larry King Live or one of those stupid shows that I hate watching. Oh yeah...nor did they find any weapons and the sites they fired at, which they thought were weapons manufacturing plants, were really schools, churches, hospitals, etc...

However, the only arguement I can offer for not allowing to UN to come in was that Iraq didn't trust the UN and didn't want them in their country.

I personally have liked past Republican Presidents and would have voted for many of them. So I don't consider myself Democratic or Republican...but I think this man is a complete joke...as was John Kerry. John Edwards or Howard Dean would have been WAY better Presidents than either Bush or Kerry.

First, why automatically trust Condoleeza Rice? Because she shares the viewpoint that no weapons were being developed?
Second, if Iraq didn't trust the UN, then why did they agree to UN inspections after the Persian Gulf War?

I'm not sure I understand what you are saying, so I might not be addressing your issues, but Condi is the Sec. of State, I'm sure that she of all people would be in a postion to know.

And Iraq was hardly in a position to not allow anything we wanted.

Okay...asumming Condoleeza Rice doesn't know what she's talking about or is lying (Don't you think Bush would have more of a reason to lie, since he's being elected, which is based on the public; Condoleeza isn't), my point still stands. They found nothin, they didn't bomb anything that caused a threat, and American soldiers are dead...thousands of them.

Since it was a family feud, Bush should have accepted Saddam's offer for a duel. Of course, that would not have helped Israel. . .

Do you realize that every year our govenment forgives billions of dollars in debt to countries that our still getting aid from the US and still have billions of dollars of assets in this country.

I say screw that. Let's seize the assets of those countries and suspend aid to the same countries who turn their backs on us and burn our flag. This money would be better spent on the citizens of the US.

What do any of the list 2 countries produce that we can't produce for our selves? I went to the store the other day to buy a flag for Memorial Day, I came home without one cause I could not find one that was made in the US. Now that is some seriously wrong s***.

Close the borders and take of our own people and our true allies. What would Canada and Mexico do? Send a Mariachi band and a troop of boy scouts with swiss army knives to attack us. They cannot defend themselves but they s*** on us every day, and cry for our help every other day.

There are people in this country that have no jobs, no food, no homes or even basic medical treatment, but call your computer server help center and you will be talking to someone in India.

It's got to stop! BUY AMERICAN OR DON'T BUY AT ALL.
