 Lions running game
This area has to improve dramatically. KJ has been getting very few carries, Tose got none last week.
In terms of good news, Sledge is back and practicing. On Monday Steve Mariucci said the reason why they abandoned the run was because 1) it wasn't working, and 2) Cory Schlesinger and Stephen Trejo were out with injuries. In addition, the team promoted Thump off the practice squad this week.
Lets get KJ 100 yards this week - pleeease.
BTW - On Sunday - Jason Hanson will tie Wayne Walker, a linebacker from 58-72, for the most games played in team history -- 200. It's tough to imagine a linebacker holding this record - wow!

KJ has promise and so does Tose but like you said we need to balance things out and be able to run better than we have thus far.
I think it's quite possible for KJ to get 100+ this week.

Lavar being out really helps KJ chances of 100

I don't think that Jones is going to get 100 this week.
Washington boasts the league's second best rushing defense (allowing 86.9 yards per game) and Detroit has the league's second worst rushing offense (76.6 yards per game).
Also, with Mooch insisting on RRBC (Robbing better backs of carries), Pinner is sure to take some of that yardage.
I'd say around 45 yards for Jones, 27 yards for Pinner, and 9 yards for Harrington.

Are we even allowed to say "Lions" and "Running Game" in the same sentence?

The Lions are sadly a one trick pony on offence with Williams...who has been hurt

I think we need to get a new offensive line coach. Pat Morris (although I like him), just isn't getting the job done. I don't know who we would look into acquiring, but Mike Solari of the Kansas City Chiefs would be the best one avaliable. His resume is the most impressive, having the Chiefs running game putting up those numbers each year.
