 Would you take Stafford in a keeper league?

Post Would you take Stafford in a keeper league?
He probably won't be starting right away and his stats might not be that great his rookie season, but this kid has just about as much potential as anybody in the NFL.

So should one take him in a keeper league?

I would. If I knew management was going to give a top flight o-line. 27 years and waiting for me.....

How many keepers do you get? If its only a few a very late rd pick might be worth it... If that is the case you have to draft almost like a non keeper league except for your first 3 picks where you might want to go with a Calvin Johnson vs Randy Moss...

If you keep them all and do a rookies only draft then maybe a mid round pick as a #2...

Definately not worth a high rd pick and your #1 in any draft this year...

the way most keeper leagues work is, the round you draft somebody in has an effect on the round in which you loose your draft pick for keeping that player, so sleepers are a huge bonus. And as far as fantasy football goes, he could be called a sleeper.

What is the point of using a high or middle round pick on a player this year that will likely be in next year's draft?

not use a high or middle, use a latish.
