Start 'Em or Sit 'Em mistakes
Let's keep this thread going all season long to announce our fantasy football blunders. I know that I'm going to make several and I'm sure that the rest of you will too.
I wasted little time doing something stupid this year by leaving Santonio Holmes and his 31 pts (gets 3 pts for 125 yards) on the bench last night. Of course, I'm starting Roddy White, Marques Colston, and Braylon Edwards, so who knew? I should win this matchup anyways, but if I don't, I'm gonna be pissed.

I started Willie Parker... He's looking to be a HORRIBLE fantasy pick this year...

I almost forgot that I played Willie Parker in one league, but I'm matched up against BillySims, so it really doesn't matter. I should have started Steve Breaston in that flex spot instead, but beating Billy by 30 is just as good as beating him by 50 IMO. BTW, I beat him every year in every league. It's gone past comical at this point.

This, I should've started Justin Gage instead

Week One: Gonz's phantom injury killed the position, 0 points. Pett didn't even get a look on offense, 0 points. Both in the Lionbacker league. In the Salary Cap league Avery didn't do much of anything, but i'm KILLING you guys so it is no big deal. Other than that I was spot on!

Started Clinton Portis, which was probably not going to get much against the Giants, and sat McGahee. With the 3 backs in Baltimore its tough to look at him, but if hes going to get the majority of goal line looks, I might have to look harder at him.

I started Ronnie Brown over Thomas Jones in a flex WR/RB spot. Brown got me 2.65 points and Jones got 16.35. I'm up 13 and he only has Nate Kaeding to go so hope it doesn't cost me a win.
CJ's TD that was called out of bounds might cost me a game tho.

And to add to my mistakes:
Apparently I should've started Crayton and Eli too
Well, at least I'm continuing my ineptitude from the last couple years....sort of like the Lions

I have Hightower in one of my leagues and here I thought playing him this week would of been a 'gamble' and boy did it pay off for me!

I've got another good one. I played the Dallas defense against Tampa (2 points) instead of the Philly defense against Carolina (29 points). That was a tough choice for me but it came down to me having no respect for the Buc offense. Luckily, I still won that matchup this week thanks to Adrian Peterson and Reggie Wayne.

Early season freak out. Should I look for a different QB to replace Cutler or should I just chalk up that bad game to jitters and he will be great and not look like Rex Grossman the rest of the year?
