True enough, UM isn't as good as some people claim, but I don't think they are that bad either. Bottom line, the Wolverines defense can't keep getting pushed around and expect the offense to save them every game. It just isn't going to happen.
With that said, the game this weekend will be extremely tough for UM to win. MSU is hurting right now after 3 straight losses and that makes them truly dangerous. If UM can pressure the QB and the freshmen can handle their first road game in a hostile environment, then I say UM wins by 2 scores. If not, then I expect another game going down to the final possession.
Amen brother. After what UM went through last season this feels really good. State has been starting out strong the past few seasons. Mabey starting out bad will be better for them in the long run. I hope not.

Since it appears that Forcier is going to play, I'll have to give UM the edge in this game. Both defenses suck, so it ought to be a high scoring game with Michigan running for 300 and State passing for 300. With that said:
UM 45 MSU 41

State 9999
UofM 10000
In reality I don't think um has anything to worry about in this game, I hope for the best but expect the worse at this point in the season for my sparty's. With that said my real prediction
State 28
UofM 14
Doesn't make sense does it, guess the green and white in my blood won't let me pick against them.

I'll be shocked if we lose, but I'll be even more shocked if State holds us under 30.
(I use the term "we" because it is my university)

First half and Michigan didn't even deserve to be on the same field as STATE. As I said, Michigan can only win if they get lucky, speaking of luck it is certainly on their side so far...
First Half Stats:
Rushing: State 83, UofM -3
Passing: State 140, UofM 65
Total: State 223, UofM 62
TOP: State 22:40, Uof M 7:20
BTW - hey refs, you can throw a friggin flag on the Wolves as well. You really didn't see multiple holds, 2-3 late hits and hits out of bounds? Way to give Tate and extra yard when he slid to keep their only mircacle drive going as well - gesh.
This game should already be over, hopefully the score reflects the team that is truly dominating in the second half - it shouldn't be close.
GO STATE!

MSU is thoroughly kicking our Dairy Air. UofM doesn't deserve to win this game even if they somehow find a way to do so.

Oh you know they will. Nice phantom late hit call refs and blow to the head of the QB - ugh!

MSU WINS!
Well this game confirmed both things I knew heading into the game, State is the better team and Michigan is the luckier team. I'm shocked the Spartans actually pulled it off given the way things usually go.
Gotta give credit to Michigan for not giving up, way to fight back guys - great job - you made it a fantastic and very scary game to watch.

Good win by State.
It took everything they had, and they almost lost a game they should've dominated.
Enjoy it while it lasts, Forcier will be dominating college football for the next few years.
