Quote:
NEW YORK/TORONTO (July 13, 2005) - The National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players' Association have reached an agreement in principle on the terms of a new Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Details of the new Agreement will not be made available publicly pending the formal ratification process by the NHLPA Members and the NHL Board of Governors.

It is anticipated that the ratification process will be completed next week, at which time the parties will be prepared to discuss the details of the Agreement and plans for next season. No further comment will be made until then.

My uncle says the same thing..

Hes a michigan Fan
Red wings fan

Im a state fan
Avalanche fan

So we always duke it out when ever they play eachother. And pull out the xbox to settle to see whos better (I always get stomped on NCAA football, kind of sucks)

Blame my friend in the 4th grade for getting me to like the avs (now im graduated lol), floor hockey was coming up and he was a goalie and had a colorado helmet and I thought it looked pretty cool, so I picked one up and became a goalie (usually was on offense) and loved them ever since..weird eh lol

Avs fan!!!! You should be banned for that - where's Alpha......

j/k I remember the Wings - Avs rivalry, it used to be something special, I just don't think it will be the same with the salary cap and all the changes that are bound to happen. Oh well, at least I'll be watching the Red Wings win the Stanley Cup this season.

Go Wings!!!!! headbang.gif

I was at that game...best day of my life. I've got a boat load of pics someplace. Free tix from my buddy's girlfriend's pops (he wouldn't let us sit in the press box though :x ). Apparently he is/was some big wig hockey columnist. We got to meet McCarty too.

They had a great coach and a great goalie, and we had a so-so coach, and now we have there coach. You are just trying to direct the attention away from the game 7. 8)

Its all good...Detroit and Colorado settles their games when they played eachother and its always something to watch.

I know for sure I'll be going to all the games that come to the Joe when they play them.

Last game I went to resulted in a colorado win on valentines day :). I love sitting by drunks talking trash to me while im wearing my Sakic jersey.

I absolutely hate the Avs, but Forsberg is the man. He's one of my favorite players of all time. Watching the Wings destroy Roy though...it doesn't get any better than that.
