Yeah, I do NOT miss John Cooper... but I will say, even when he lost to MI, at least his teams were GOOD.

You're right a lot of football to be played yet but I wouldn't considered them a pushover, even with a defense that sucks.

Im not saying they are anything, we agree, there is a lot of football to be played. I have reservations about my Buckeyes, so I'm not stating anything... just not ready to give them any credit till they pay some good teams.

OSU is an excellent team, not sure why you would have reservations. I really haven't watched them play to much this season but the pundits have them rated really high and Pryor should be at the point in his career of being able to take them to the next level. I'm sure they are pretty much the same methodical type team that Tressel likes to field and will give any team in the nation a battle.

Special Team Mistakes... only reason why Miami was even in the game.

I don't believe Michigan will be strong enough against the power running or play action teams of the Big Ten. It's kind of like our Lions with a developing or exposed back 7. Teams like UConn and UMass showed our weaknesses pretty clearly by running on us all day. That's what the Big 10 is known for, and many teams still subscribe to that, even if it's a hybrid of the spread. Which OSU does really well.

Our hope will be in the ability to throw points up fast and often! Whether that includes switchng up using Forcier and Shoestring for different series in order to throw off the DC and their schemes. But that could lead to problems because of the difference between those players.

I will admit, that a Wolverine victory over Buckeyes, will be extra SWEET this year, but I'm just not sure how the Wolverines will do. As someone said, let's get a few games under the belt, and then we can evaluate.

To be honest, I don't expect Michigan to beat Ohio State this year or any other year that DickRod is coach. How's that for honesty?

2500 days sounds like a lot, lets make it sound better for UofM fans...

358 weeks
60,264 hours
3,615,840 minutes
216,950,400 seconds

nope, it still sounds really bad - sorry.

I find it amusing that a Sparty chimed in considering his school hasn't beaten Ohio State since 1999. How many days has that been?

That's not necessarily true, MSU is 5-0 and did just beat a solid (albeit overrated) Wisconsin team.

Next week should be a very fun game, when was the last time Michigan and MSU played with both teams ranked anyway?

Should be another shootout...as will every other Michigan game this year.
