Favre and Romo likely done for the year
Favre has a stress fracture in his ankle and Romo has a Charlie Rogers style collarbone.
Both of those games just became more than winnable.

Kitna is no worse than Romo IMO. If anything I think the cowboys offense gets better. He has tons of weapons and we know he's capable of slinging the ball around.
He will throw alot of interceptions but the touchdown numbers will be there too.

Both of those games just became more than winnable. I think that Favre can probably play this week given it is an ankle and he doesn't rely on mobility that much these days. Romo is out min 6 weeks, given what their record will look like when he gets back they might just want to shut him down for the year (the Cowgirls looked very beatable either way)

You can play with stress fractures in your foot, depending where they are. If he's going to hang it up after the year anyhow, why not? If I had to guess, he comes out and plays the first series to keep his streak alive and T Jack comes in if he can't keep playing.

The Old Man says his ankle has significantly healed...
I, for one, would love to see Favre go out and play against the patriots tomorrow. With a bum ankle he can't possibly lead them to a win, and Tjack isn't any better than favre. I believe we've got a great chance to beat the redskins. I really think that after this weekend we'll be even with the vikings and moving upward.
