Hmmm... I don't know why I thought he got a huge contract. Didn't someone who was a QB not doing well a big contract lately?

But, he is still going to be a FA this off season. They just re-wrote his current deal and threw in a few bucks more.

He signed a 5 year extension: http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE6BG5HD20101217But he will likely be cut after the end of this season.

 Re: Could be worse...
I bet Minnie picks him up, just for insurance while they try to get a QB.

 Re: Could be worse...
Yeah, McNabb signed a 5-year deal but it is structured so he can be released after this season very easily.

He is going to have a lot of suitors like Arizona, Buffalo, Carolina, Miami, Minnesota, San Fran, Seattle, and Tennesee.

 Re: Could be worse...
I think Carolina drafts a QB and Buffalo is happy with Fitzpatrick. I don't think either of them would be looking at McNabb.

 Re: Could be worse...
It'll be strange to see where McNabb ends up next season. Arizona, maybe? His reputation as a gamer has taken a big hit this year, but he really hasn't had THAT poor of a season. He's got bupkiss around him, so what do you expect him to do? Minnesota should just take a QB in the draft and start the rebuilding process. They're going to need to do it soon enough, might as well start now.
