If we couldn't trade, either up for Prince or down for Harris, I would just as soon take Ingrahm here instead of another defensive player that don't know how to tackle.
_________________ Fisher or Joekel or Lane Johnson for #5 overall. I have settled on Johnson as my preference. The only thing Joekel and Fisher have over him is experience at LT. 2 years from now, Lane Johnson will be known as the best LT of this draft!

From what I've seen of Smith he has been willing to help out in run support. He's a big corner at 6'2 and he has pretty solid speed for a big man. While I'd prefer to trade down and nab him, that might not be possible with how fast he' climbing draft boards. Really like the pick.
Regarding the Skins pick, I know there is a lot of buzz about them taking Cam Newton, but I really hope they don't. They can get Kapernick or Poner in round 2 or 3 and take Julio Jones or get some much needed D help at 10.

He has good size and is very fluid from the little I've seen of him, reminds me a bit of Nnamdi Asomugha. He went with the 31st pick overall and 4th corner taken that year.
Like Asomugha, Smith's stats don't jump off the page due in large part to the fact that teams just don't throw at him.

I'm surprised nobody has called me out for not having Akeem Ayers selected in the first round. In truth, I had intended to have him go to New England with their second pick of the first round instead of Justin Houston, then have Houston go to the Jets, with Phil Taylor dropping out of the first round altogether (going to the Broncos in the second round), but I messed up when I pasted some of the picks into my article and left him out. Oh well, it's only my first one this year. Besides, we engineers love to change things.

I'm not all that impressed with what I saw from Ayers, so you won't catch any grief from me!

I was impressed by Ayers just from watching him against Texas.. but then again.. Texas did go 5-7 last year and I didn't watch any of his other games.
