Their fans love the signing now, but how long will it be before they turn on him? Especially in those November/December games at Soldier Field. Roy toy pretty much has played in domes his entire career and not very well at all, so I see this as a pretty big adjustment for him to make.

Nice cold stiff fingers... can he actually drop more balls? Is that physically possible?

Re: ESPN Reporting Roy Williams to Chicago
To be honest, I have a feeling Roy might turn his career around in Chicago. I think it's possible he just didn't click with Romo. Last year, once Kitna was starting, he seemed to come on a bit. Reunited w/ Martz and Cutler throwing to him? He might actually do alright.

Roy Williams says he’s not in shape Posted by Michael David Smith on August 18, 2011, 2:39 PM EDT Chicago Bears Training Camp Getty Images
Three weeks after signing with the Bears, wide receiver Roy Williams says there’s something big he needs to improve before he can be the kind of contributor he wants to be in Chicago.
“My conditioning,” Williams said, per John Mullin of CSNChicago.com. “Getting my wind right. You have to be able to run in this offense. Run all day long.”
Williams says it’s not his fault that he’s not in shape. According to Williams, there was nothing he could have done during the lockout to get himself into shape for a football season, because the only thing that gets you into football shape is playing football.
“I’m a firm believer in no matter what you do in the offseason, nothing will get you football ready except for playing football,” Williams said. “That’s what I believe. It’s tough. You can run all the hills and mountains that you want to, but when you get out here and play for four seconds and jog back to the huddle, that’s what gets you in shape.”
Bears quarterback Jay Cutler said Williams appears to be getting closer to being in shape, and that he’s confident Williams will be ready to go a full game at full speed soon.
“Roy’s definitely getting back into shape, taking more plays every day,” Cutler said. “You can see more glimpses of Roy Williams each and every day.”
Soon, the Bears will want Williams to be in good enough shape that they can see more than just glimpses. Haha. What complete boob. Of course running up hills and mountains didn't do anything for Jerry Rice.

They play football you turd... do non contact running routes with some buddies. Heck, I'll go throw to him in the off season if he wants and I can watch him drop all the balls

He'll probably torch us for 100 yards and 2 tds twice a year, and disappear for the rest of his time in Chicago.
