More or likely Alex Acker and Amir Johnson will play in the NBDL for awhile, the new Collective Barganing Agreement lets teams station them to the NBDL now...
Here's my projected roster:

SG: Rip Hamilton
SF: Tayshaun Prince
PF: Rasheed Wallace
C: Ben Wallace
6th man: Antonio McDyess
7th man: Michael Finley
8th: Carlos Delfino
9th: Carlos Arroyo
10th: Darko Millicic
11th: Dale Davis
12th: Jason Maxielle
*13th: Darvin Ham
*14th: Ronald Dupree
*15th: Lindsey Hunter

Actually, I read after the draft that Acker and Johnson have a very good chance of making the final roster.

pistons depth chart w/ DALE DAVIS
1st string -------------- 2nd string ------------ 3rd string
PG: Chauncy Billups ----- Carlos Arroyo --------- Alex Acker
SG: Rip Hamilton --------- Lindsay Hunter ------ Alex Acker
SF: Tayshaun Prince ------ Carlos Delfino -------- Ronald Dupree
PF: Rasheed Wallace ----- Antonio McDyess ------- Jason Maxiell
C: Ben Wallace ----------- Dale Davis ----------------Darko Milicic
4th string: Amir Johnson (C)
I think our 2nd string should be able to do some damage if given the opportunity to play. We definitely saw what McDyess is capable of last year, and hopefully this year both Arroyo and Delfino will have break out years!!

Arroyo will definitely be better. He just needs to be given more time. Delfino is already a good player, he just needs to toughen up and stay off the injury list. Look for Darko to be 2nd string behind Ben and Dale 3rd, at least at the start of the season. The Pistons want to see his progress in some meaningful game situations. If he falters, he will be back on the bench.
As for the Rookies, I think Maxiell and Acker could stick to the regular roster. Look for Amir Johnson to start the year on the NBDL team, but if he lights it up, look for the Pistons to bring him in to backup Prince. Dumars is really high on this kid, but he needs to add some size and strength for the NBA game. But the kid definitely has some skill.

What I don't understand is why the Stones are getting more centers. They want Darko to get more playing time, but they go out and get Dale Davis (which was a need IMO) and they draft Amir Johnson, who's listed as a center, but lacks that true center size that we need to match up against the bigs like Shaq. Darko is a waste with the signing of Davis IMO. The Stones should cut their losses.

I'm not certain of my depth chart. Darko Milicic could be the 2nd string Center coming off the bench. Dale Davis is pretty much just replacing Elden Campbell for the playoffs against Shaq. The only real pick-up we'll make this offseason is the signing of Maurice Evans (who is not replacing anyone)
