Trade Question (Steve Smith for Bowe and Green-Ellis)
I've been offered a trade, I give up WR Steve Smith for WR Dwyane Bowe and RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis in a standard yahoo league (3 WR, 2 RB)
So in this league I've lost P. Manning, J. Charles and M. Colston is out for a while.
I'm OK at WR with Steve Smith (for now), Roddy White, Reggie Wayne, and Plax to go with Colston when he returns.
At RB, the Charles loss hurt and I'm stuck with R. Grant, M. Ingram, J. Stewart, and B. Tate.
So would you do the deal?
Also, I could counter for Fred Jackson (who is also on his bench) instead BGE?
Thoughts?

You are loaded at WR... I just don't see much value in the Bowe and Green-Ellis

Due to Steve Smith's hot start, he's certainly worth more than just Bowe and Law Firm. I'd ask for Bowe and Jackson instead, since Green-Ellis only gets around 10 touches a game or so. If he won't change it, then no deal.

Re: Trade Question (Steve Smith for Bowe and Green-Ellis)
Sorry, but I'm gonna derail this thread because it gave me an idea and I didn't feel like starting a new one. In an 8 team league, the guy who had Charles is only left with MJD, Ingram, and Addai at RB, while I have Rice, Gore, Hightower, Blount, and Fred Jackson (when my top priority claims him on waivers tomorrow). I'm looking for a WR since Colston and Rice have been hurt, and my others are Roddy White, Santonio Holmes, and AJ Green. His WRs are Steve Smith (Car), Wallace, Manningham, Bowe, Julio Jones, and Burleson.
I'm not gonna trade Ray Rice, but which RB should I offer for which of his WRs? Decisions, decisions. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd go for Burleson or pick up Titus on waivers. Both are going to get a lot of looks with the coverages teams are throwing at Calvin. KC had 3 on him at all times, which makes it crazy that CJ had 3 catches and 2 TD's.
Another option for WR that might be on waivers is Jabbar Gaffney. Redskins are spreading out the passes because they don't have a true #1. Moss gets taken out by doubles pretty regularly.

To answer the first question, if he'll throw in Fred Jackson I'd probably go for it. What other RBs does he have?
Sly, I'd say try to unload Hightower for Manningham depending on Mario's health. Roy Helu had about 10 carries on Sunday and got 100 total yards so he might start taking carries away from Tim. If Mario is going to miss some time due to his concussion, then see if he'll give up Wallace for Gore.

Thanks for the input. I really want Wallace, but I'm not sure about giving up Gore. Therefore, I'm thinking about Hightower and Blount for Wallace. Think he'll do it?

Re: Trade Question (Steve Smith for Bowe and Green-Ellis)
Since this thread got bumped, I should tell you that I never made any of those trades. The dude ended up acquiring another RB, so he wasn't interested in another trade.
