Fellas- It's almost that time of year again, Movember. Not sure how many here have heard of it, but please check it out when you have the time

About The Campaign During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in the US and around the world. With their Mo’s, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.
On Movember 1st, guys register at Movember.com with a clean-shaven face. For the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men, known as Mo Bros, groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery. Supported by the women in their lives, Mo Sistas, Movember Mo Bros raise funds by seeking out sponsorship for their Mo-growing efforts.
Mo Bros effectively become walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of November. Through their actions and words they raise awareness by prompting private and public conversation around the often ignored issue of men’s health.
At the end of the month, Mo Bros and Mo Sistas celebrate their gallantry and valor by either throwing their own Movember party or attending one of the infamous Gala Partés held around the world by Movember, for Movember.

Re: Movember
Since the girls to pink for Breast Cancer, why do the bro's do blue? Have a portion of their hair or MO's dyed blue. For us Lions fans, how about Honolulu Blue?
I'll grow a beard and have a portion of it dyed blue for Bro's, anyone else?

remember you heard the blue thing here first!
Sounds pretty cool! Gotta make sure you share pics if you do it
The Movember Campaign has those men that are participating start the month of clean-shaven, then grow the mustache for the entire month. (Could also serve as homage to Killer) The wife isn't too crazy about me growing a Mo, but she'll just have to live with it for the month. I'll be sure to provide updates as well as some pictures of my progress throughout the month. Even if you choose to not donate, please take some time to check out my progress

This is a Global campaign; it started in Melbourne, Australia in 2003. It could be worth the marketing dept looking into. Check out the links in this thread.

Wags, I'm in and can grow a mean stach. Hey for next year can we just combine October and November, I'll just have a big pink mustach for one month an be done.
Team Lionbacker - lets do this! Now it is just a matter of which one...
I sport a goatee full time. I'm not shaving it off just to start it again. I have sported a Trucker stash in the past. In High school, I had a pretty mean Porn star stash.

You could shave and start over...maybe even just shave the Mo. If peeps ask you about it or give you a hard time, just tell them you're doing it to bring awareness to Men's health, especially prostate and other cancers.
I'm sure I'm going to catch hell mainly because I'm 40 and can't grow facial hair to save my life.....lots of little patches everywhere LOL
