 Haynesworth just got canned...again
Looks like they were tired of him in New England too.

 Re: Haynesworth just got canned...again
And there were people here that wanted to bring him to Detroit.
Thank God Jim and Martin didn't.

 Re: Haynesworth just got canned...again
What's interesting is John Clayton mention there's chance, Detroit or Philly may grab him off the waiver wire. I mean the only man who could get him back to playing like he did in tennessee would be his old titans D.C., which would just make our DL unstoppable, but why would we.

That's not exactly what Clayton said. He said "a little unlikely...", re: the Lions. I'd have to agree with that. Haynesworth is more likely to land with Tampa or Philly. Here's the video... I'm fine with Haynesworth not being here. His continued conflicts with management just make him a distraction as far as I'm concerned. Besides this is not a position of need; our D-line is already one of the top 3 or 5 in the NFL.

We're much better off without him!

With McCoy out for the season he is going to end up in Tampa.

...and again.
I say cut C. Williams and bring in Albert on the cheap.

I say cut C. Williams and bring in Albert on the cheap. Hell no. Williams has played very well the past 2 years Haynesworth has been nothing since he left Tennessee. I actually have a bit of inside knowledge on this one. I worked with a guy named Jim who was handled some of Hayneworth's financial stuff, and when he got the big contract with Washington, he told Jim "I just won the lottery". It shouldn't be a surprise that he hasn't exactly set the world on fire since then. He got his big payday, and now is just riding out his career until he's done. Under no circumstances would I want this guy on the Lions. None. Never. No way, no how.

 Re: Haynesworth just got canned...again
No, no, no. He will be linked to Detroit with the Schwartz connection or a team like Eagles with the Washburn connection.
With our rep already hurting us and young impressionable players on defense, this is NOT what we need at all.

 Re: Haynesworth just got canned...again
IMO Albert has done nothing the past few years other than get older and collect lots of cash.
