 Stafford
No one is mentioning this. Very noteworthy however. Stafford set the ALL TIME detroit lions record for TD's today. 33, passes Mitchell for TD's in a season, and only needs 200 or so yards the next two games to take all time passing yards as well. Lady's, Gentlemen, we have a NFL qb. Oh, and for the record, Barry Sander's hasn't been in the backfield all season long, like MItchell had. Enough said Go Stafford!

 Re: Stafford
He's youngest since Marino in 84 to throw for 4,000 yards and 30 TD's in a season also.

 Re: Stafford
League Ranks:
Passing Yards = 5th Comp % = 7th TDs = 4th 40+ yard passes = 2nd QB Rating = 7th
The completion % is the most surprising to me. Imagine if he didn't need to wear that glove for a quarter of the season.

 Re: Stafford
Thank god we get to erase Mr. Mitchell out of the memory banks. Stafford will get his pro bowl status in due time. I wouldn't be surprised if someone comes up with the phantom injury that allows him to play this year.

Decent chance Rodgers or Brees will be in the superbowl and not play the pro bowl. That leaves a spot open for Stafford.

 Re: Stafford
Quote: it is Rodgers, Brees, then Stafford or Eli I guess the homer side of me would say that Matt does'nt have the help of a running game that Eli has. Jacobs and Bradshaw are a huge chunk of that offense

The completion % is the most surprising to me. Imagine if he didn't need to wear that glove for a quarter of the season. Legitimate Top 10 QB. Arguably a Top 5 QB. Brady Brees Rogers Fill in Blank - Rivers? Stafford That's some big time company.
