Predictions: Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers
This is an extremely difficult game to predict, so I'm going to go with Too Close To Call. I think it's likely that GB will rest some of their starters, but we don't know for sure yet. It's also a possibility that the Lions could do the same thing with Smith, Delmas, and others.

Rogers doesn't play(no WAY you risk your SB calibur QB for a nothing game against a very solid pass rush. McCarthy isn't that stupid). Lions win.

Re: Predictions: Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers
I am hoping, especially after Detroit's last showing, that they will now start to operate with a confidence and sense of purpose. I remember watching GB last year as they moved into the playoffs, they got better as the time went on because they started to get a sense of direction.
I think this game will be similar, but Suh and company are going to need to rise above the little tricks that are going to be played against them. If we come out playing like we did, and if we can get some pressure on Rodgers, I think we can take this game.
If we do what we did on T day, we will be the laughing stock of the NFL again.

Too close to call, considering no one really knows who is playing and for how long.

If this game isn't chippy enough for them, Imagine a Giant's or Cowboys game, and then a 49er's game. This is my dream for this season. If they didn't make it to the superbowl I would live, but if they make it to a 49er's rematch and don't win, I'd feel like the season wasn't as good as it should have been. Just wonder what Schwartz would do? Pull his hand back before the handshake and run his hand through his hair? Go in for the bone crusher handshake, flip him the bird from mid field and walk away? It would be more important than the game

Re: Predictions: Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers
I choose the Lions win on this one. I see GB maybe playing their starters the 1st half and that's about it and the Lions coming in the 2nd half and winning it.
One thing I am worried about... is that I believe GB's O-line will be going at Suh's knees early and often and will try to get at him like they did on T day.

My Prediction Stafford Passes for 450+ yards and 4 TD's Lions win 45-35

I think the Lions will be better prepared than TG day, no matter WHO the pack has in the game. Lions 24 - 20.

Staffords gotta get to 5000 yards right? 480 yards, 4 TDs, no picks, Eli gets kicked out of the pro bowl!

Re: Predictions: Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers
When Vegas places you as a 3.5pt favorite in Lambeau, that's all you really need to know about this game. They expect GB to turtle and expect the Lions to go full throttle until it's won.
The only way GB really "wins" here is if they get out of this game healthy. There's no real motivation other than that.
It's Lions all the way
