Since a couple of people showed interest in playing in the previous thread, I've decided to do this again. If this sick, morbid, and twisted game offends you, leave this thread now and never return. If not, stick around and make your picks in order to become the 2012 Lionbacker Celebrity Death Pool Champion. At this time, it looks like I'll win for the second year in a row, so this is your chance to take away my crown.

The rules are simple. Just pick 12 celebrities who you believe will die in calendar year 2012. All entries must be posted in this thread by 11:59 PM on December 31st, 2011 to be eligible and no edits after that time will be allowed. You can make as many edits as you like up until that time though. If someone makes multiple entries, the last one posted will be the official one used.

Celebrities include actors, musicians, athletes, writers, politicians, or anyone whose death would be reported by national or international sources such as the AP or Reuters. This makes someone like Casey Anthony eligible, but not your neighbor, friend, or family member whose death would only be reported in the local newspaper.

Points will be awarded based upon their age at the time of death. The age will be deducted from the base number of 100 to achieve the score. For instance, if an 80 year old celebrity dies, that will result in 20 points being awarded. Because of this, it isn't worthwhile to pick people over the age of 100 since no points would be earned for their death.

Whomever has accumulated the most points at the end of the year wins. Correctly predicting the largest number of deaths does not. Therefore, it is usually better to select a few younger individuals instead of just those in their 90's. You now have 10 days to get your picks in and I hope we have decent participation this year.
