NFL Network's byline is listing the Lions as picking 22.

Odd to say, but NFL Network is wrong. Unless strength of schedule is calculated after taking in playoff wins and losses (which it isn't) the Lions played a harder schedule then the Falcons and should pick behind them. The 4 teams that lost this weekend are picks 21-24. Cincinnati was 9-7, Atlanta and Detroit were 10-6, and Pittsburgh 12-4. The Falcons had a opponents win percentage of .480 and the Lions was .535. The theory holds that if you played an easier schedule and finished with the same record as a team that played a harder schedule, you are, in effect, in need of more help.

NFL Network is wrong......strength of schedule places the Lions at pick number 23.

Hopefully we can land a new offensive lineman that can actually start, contribute, and be better than the guy he is replacing his first year.

At the end of the day, our offense couldn't keep up with New Orleans. After we failed to take advantage of our second turn-over, went 3 and out, and punted the ball back, only to have N.O. march down the field and score, the game was over. The defense was deflated, we can't pick up 4th and shorts at will like N.O., and we can't stay on the field, or control the clock to give our D the time it needs to rest.

OL or bust... Fix the damn thing already... It's only been 10 years!

I THINK I AGREE WITH WJB!

the ol is aging and not very good, they ve held up better than most of us thought they would but as a whole they are on the verge of collapse. backus tore his biceps after previously injuring his pec, neither are career threatening injuries but its clear the wear and tear on his body is taking its toll, he s 34 yo and doesnt have much time left. cheriulus isnt all that talented and is inconsistent. Raiola and peterman are both 30 and up. their is a desperate need on the OL before the unit completely falls apart.

it d be great to get the phenomenal athlete to play on the defense but as strange as it sounds that seems like the wrong way too build. gb, ne, no are all trying to win w offense and largely ignoring the defense and doing so w great success.
