 Division Round Games
With the Lions out of it, I'm rooting for the Ravens. I dislike both the Saints and the 49ers so this game is meaningless for me.
I think the Saints + Refs win against the 9ers and the Pats beat the Broncos tonight. Tomorrow the Pack top the Giants and the Ravens take care of the Texans.

 Re: Division Round Games
We got no credit from anyone. 14-0 lead with a chance to go 21-0. I don't know why you hate my team so bad, but I know it stems from the 5-0 game you had that put you at 5-1. Without that, I don't think all the hate would come out the way it does. No hard feelings, my team has suffered over the past 8 years like your team. I was happy for the Lions, I'm a little butt-hurt hearing the trash come from you though.

 Re: Division Round Games
Hmm no early whistle there. The refs let the play go and allowed the challenge. If only they'd done the same for us.

I heard it a billion times the week of our game. I have heard it a billion times since on the radio. Here's a fact for you. NO-ONE but the 49ers organization and fans are ever going to give you the respect you think you deserve if you keep sniveling about respect. I don't care if anyone outside the Lions organization/fan base like the Lions, or respect the Lions, or hate the Lions. But, when they play my Lions, I want them to pee in their pull ups.

I just dislike Jim Harbaugh. I have nothing against the 49ers organization or the players--I just want to see Harbaugh fail. I can't discredit what he's accomplished--I just think he's a foul person.

 Re: Division Round Games
The 49ers took advantage of their opportunities yesterday. They picked Brees off twice and forced 3 fumbles. Those were only turned into 13 points but also kept the Saints from scoring. We didn't turn our two fumbles into points and dropped at least 3 INTs that would have wiped out 17 Saints points.
From his years in Washington, I know Carlos Rogers. He has hands of stone but he can stick with WRs. He had a brilliant game yesterday. Their safeties also had a big impact on the game. Vernon Davis was a huge mismatch and they took advantage of that all game. He's a University of Maryland like me so I'm happy to see him succeed.
That's what we need to win games with other high scoring offenses. A #1 corner, a healthy Delmas and potentially an upgrade on Spivey.
Congrats to San Fran.
I'm hoping the Ravens go all the way. I hate the Patriots and I think the Ravens D can slow down whoever comes out of the NFC. If it's San Fran it'll be more of an old school type of game.

I guess defense still wins championships!

thelomasbrowns wrote: I guess defense still wins championships! Was there seriously any doubt. Some things just never change. If your Defense can stop the other teams Offense 1 more time than their Defense stops your offense, you will probably win. If we can upgrade at DB and LB, and do nothing else, we will go deep into the playoffs next year.
