Ok. For the sake of moving along, let's suppose that you are right and Martin is a better run blocker than Backus. If that is true at the NFL level, and not against college players (kind of the point behind the old college video) then the Lions would not be doing too badly to choose him at spot #23. They got their moneys worth picking Backus at 18 way back, if you get something similar from Martin you've made a good choice. Given that scenario, I'd be happy with that. Someone will be playing that spot other than JB in the next few years.

As far as Martin goes, I guess I'd like to see more than 2 running plays to determine what he's got. The truth is, I haven't watched much of him on you tube or anything to see.
