Megatron does Late Night!! The Detroit News wrote: April 30, 2012 at 1:00 amMegatron delivers Letterman's Top 10: 'Invest in tattoos!'By The Detroit News Lions superstar receiver Calvin Johnson assisted David Letterman with his Top 10 list last week and the topic was: "Advice for Young Athletes." The 10 pieces of advice are listed here. Check out the video above if you'd like to see Megatron deliver them. 10. It helps to be 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds. 9. Accentuate brown eyes by playing for a team with green uniforms. 8. Trash talking is part of the game, but always follow up with an apology note. 7. After playing on the grass, be sure to check for ticks. 6. Get out now — there's very little money in sports. 5. Tebow already has God; try thanking Ryan Seacrest. 4. Study hard, practice, and spend hours and hours playing "Madden 13." 3. Keep your head on a swivel, take it one game at a time, and other crap like that. 2. Don't waste your money on fast cars and fast living — invest in tattoos! 1. Talk to friends, family and clergy about which Kardashian is right for you. From The Detroit News: http://www.detroitnews.com/article/2012 ... z1tcndZPcO You may want to click on the The Detroit News link and watch the video. (Which I can't figure out how to embed).

The checking for ticks and "which Kardashian is right for you?" were the funniest ones for me lol

freep wrote: EA Sports reveals actual 'Madden' cover featuring Lions' Calvin JohnsonRemember that cover Detroit Lions star Calvin Johnson was seen with when he was named the new cover man for "Madden NFL 13"? Well, that was just for photo ops. EA Sports today revealed the real thing.
Over on Facebook, we found out what EA Sports has cooked up, and the cover features more than just Megatron. Yes, he's front and center in his home Lions jersey, sporting a pair of Lions-centric receiver's gloves, preparing to catch a ball. But in the background on the left is the Renaissance Center and on the right is Ford Field. So more than just Johnson made the cover. A nice chunk of Detroit made it, too.
Note: Jason La Canfora of nfl.com tweeted today that former Cincinnati Bengals safety Chris Crocker will visit the Lions today and the Arizona Cardinals on Wednesday.

That's one of the better looking covers I've seen. Nice!

Yeah I liked Madden 12 myself. Franchise is awesome now that you can scout players in a new format and trade future draft picks, and that the free agency pool is a lot worse (like irl). Changes the dynamics of the game, makes it fun again.

thats true, they did improve the offseason stuff. The gameplay was identical to 11 is what I should have said.

Re: CJ to represent Lions for Madden cover...DONT VOTE FOR H
As much as I'm seriously afraid of the curse, I'm also proud of CJ and I think it's good that he has a reason to "come out of his shell" and enjoy the limelight a bit. It also makes me realize how lucky the Lions are to have such a physically gifted and dominant WR that has such a humble, down to earth Non-Diva attitude too. He's worth every penny of his contract IMO.
I would have liked to see him a couple feet up in the air going for a catch on the cover, but that probably would have involved a defender (who could have taken the punishment of the curse like Troy Polamalu did!) too. Regardless, even though I don't own a gaming system I could play this on, I'll probably buy a copy as memorabila anyway.
