 Re: Free Agency
I feel like OSI is past his prime now. He's a drama queen from NY who doesnt play the run worth beans. My opinion of course....

 Re: Free Agency
Ryan Grant is reportedly considering an offer from the Honolulu Blue. Thoughts?

I've hated Grant for the last two seasons. IMO he's washed up, and I would have rather had Bush or Hillis. If he wants to come here for the Vet min. or something and take the 3rd spot and provide some stability back there, I guess, but I hope we can find a better option.

 Re: Free Agency
No thanks, grant can't even hold a starting gig on a team that's almost as bad as us at running the ball

 Re: Free Agency
Not exciting but since Bush and Hillis are already signed then the next crop of available FA RBs are pretty much Grant, Benson, Ronnie Brown. Maybe Jacobs gets cut from the 49ers too if LaMichael James takes off but he isn't a long term answer either.
If they can sign Grant for a 1 year deal and 2 or 3 mil I'd say go for it.
As much as this sounds ridiculous to me right now, I wish they took a 2nd rd. RB. Would have made more sense then a luxury pick WR.

 Re: Free Agency
I know Benson has some character issues, but he's a solid runner in the Leshoure mode. Plus, he'd probably love a chance to run rampant on the Bears twice a year. I'd like them to get Grant, but that's probably only because I remember him running rampant on us twice a year. How about this guy at CB? PFT wrote: Jaguars pink slip Drew Coleman

There’s another veteran cornerback on the open market.
The Jaguars announced Thursday that they have released Drew Coleman. Coleman joined the team as a free agent before last season when he signed a three-year, $7.4 million deal to leave the Jets. He was set to earn $1.7 million this season, a number that the Jags obviously felt was too high for a player who was mainly a slot corner last season.
Coleman was a pretty good slot corner, though. He played on almost half the team’s defensive snaps, providing decent coverage along with two sacks and three forced fumbles. There are likely plenty of teams that would be interested in adding Coleman to their mix at defensive back and he probably won’t be on the unemployment line all that long.
The Jaguars signed Aaron Ross as a free agent and drafted Mike Harris in the sixth round. One of them will likely step into Coleman’s role as a complement to starters Rashean Mathis and Derek Cox.

 Re: Free Agency
We liked Ronnie Brown next year, maybe we bring him in? Of the three I think Benson would be best. As tlb said, he's of the same mold as LeShoure. I'm sure he still has a chip on his shoulder about Chicago... that's just a small bonus. IMO he's best case scenario right now.

 Re: Free Agency
I Like Ryan grant, but am confused. Everything I read said he is considering an offer from us. Isnt his alternative sitting on a couch and praying somebody else offers him (which to my knowledge nobody has). Is he considering retirement as an alternative, or just trying to play a leverage card he doesnt have?

 Re: Free Agency
He can also wait for the inevitable preseason injury to a RB and sign with that team.
