If Matthew Stafford isn't on this list, something is seriously wrong. 39 players from last year's list did not make it this year so it'll be interesting to see where guys like Eli, Cruz, AJ Green, JPP, Pat Peterson, Mike Wallace and Ladarius Webb(gave up 0 TDs last season) end up.
Which Lions do you think have a chance to crack the list?
I think maybe Stafford CJ(Top 3) Pett Suh Maybe Tully Maybe Avril On average this works out to about 3 per team - couple of teams get more, couple of teams get less. I think the Lions work out right to the average. CJ, Suh and Staff - no more, no less. Just a matter of where they rank, especially CJ. Don't you guys think Avril has a better year than Suh? SHHHHH don't tell WJB about that. He will want to trade Suh. LOL. Stupid...

Re: 2012 NFL PLAYERS TOP 100 LIST
If anyone, I think Suh deserves to be our 3rd player. There's 22 players on both sides of the ball, 4 players from each position more or less make the list. Are there 4 better DTs currently in the league? It's arguable. Tulloch, hell no...

However, he doesn't deserve to be on the 2012 list based on his 2011 season. But that said, I think Tulloch, Suh, Avril, Stafford, Houston, CJ and Pettigrew ALL deserve to be on the list ahead of Tebow.

If that is the grading curve, then Manning has no place on the list, at all. If they are rating the players still in the league on their careers, then you have to put Manning in the top three.

Re: 2012 NFL PLAYERS TOP 100 LIST
Freep wrote: Lions' Matthew Stafford ranks No. 41 on NFL top 100 listOne big year that led to the Lions' first postseason berth since 1999 has Matthew Stafford recognized among the top 50 players in the NFL today. Stafford checked in at No. 41 tonight on the NFL's top 100 players of 2012, the first Lions player to be revealed on the list. The NFL Network is revealing the top 100 in a 10-part series, with each part airing at 8 p.m. each Wednesday, revealing 10 players. Notable quarterbacks Stafford ranked ahead of: Broncos' Peyton Manning (No. 50), Chargers' Philip Rivers (61), Eagles' Michael Vick (70), Cowboys' Tony Romo (91) and Jets' Tim Tebow (95). Other Lions you might expect in the top 40, which will be revealed in the coming weeks: Wide receiver Calvin Johnson and defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. Stafford completed 63.5 percent of his passes for 5,038 yards, 41 touchdowns and 16 interceptions in 2011 after two injury-plagued seasons with the Lions. He was selected No. 1 overall in the 2009 NFL draft out of Georgia. You can watch the Matthew Stafford video here: http://www.nfl.com/videos/auto/09000d5d ... Re: 2012 NFL PLAYERS TOP 100 LIST
Apparently the voting on this wasn't for the top 100 players in the 2012 season, as I originally understood it to be. It must be the top 100 players as of 2012, because Peyton Manning made the list at #50.

Re: 2012 NFL PLAYERS TOP 100 LIST
if cam is ranked higher than stafford, i am gonna s*** out of my d***. cam's 4th quarter numbers are among the worst in the league and they went 6-10. i have no problem with him of the list he's just not a top 40 player yet
