Jahvid Best, come on down. You are the next cripple on the Price is Right.

--97.1 reports

Add that to this heap: Jonathon Scott (sooooo we signed him just to PUP him?) (*,) Chris Greenwood, Ronnell Lewis and Ryan Broyles

If it weren't comical I'd be frustrated.

I'm an idiot for wanting Michael Bush, who apparently is no more injury prone than Best...

Did they say what the injury is?

Update:

Best still hasn't been cleared for contact from his prior concussion last season.

Ive said it before...He can not be counted on. One more bump to the noggin and drooling could be his primary form of communication. My guess if this is accurate is that he didn't pass that "one final test" that was mentioned by Swartz.

I'm more of a Tolbert fan personally and it still perplexes me that he went to Carolina. What were both sides thinking there??

I'm not hearing an official word on Best but I'm sure it's a pulled brain.

Pre-season PUP isn't that big of a deal (although Best's case in particular is disconcerting). Players can come off at any point.

Seriously, if it is taking him this long to get over the last concussion, why would he even risk it? Great heart, but I just don't see him as a long term asset to the roster. I suppose they're all just "one hit" away from calling it a career, but this seems more so the case with JB. I wish him the best, but enough is enough.

Just saw an update from Adam Schefter that Leshoure injured his hamstring, I hope it isn't a big one.

Backus's thumb and Leshoure's hammy are minor, just being held out precautionary on first day of pads according to all reports. Broyles was working sidelines because CBA requires two days of non-pads and rest of team was working in pads.

I have a feeling titus young is going to be a beast this year. I'm talking 65 grabs for just over 1000 yards.
