I have a feeling someone will make a trade for Alphonso Smith. Yeah we'll only get a 6th or 7th outta it but that's better than nothing. He hasn't officially been included on any of the cut lists yet despite reports he was getting cut.

None are official until 9 p.m., that's why no one has been picked up by others yet, but he's already been informed. It's possible they pull off something with 2 hours 40 minutes left to go, but doubtful.

Re: Here's comes the Turk (2012 edition)
I know none of the cuts are official until 9PM but everywhere I'm seeing two lists and Smith isn't on them. I could just see someone giving up a late pick for him so they can beat the Colts to him. With first waiver priority I bet Indy would scoop him up.

Gerberry and Patrick Edwards final two released. Moore and Bell make 53, but I think they're potentially first to go if they sign anyone.

Re: Here's comes the Turk (2012 edition)
Is it just me, or is anyone else salivating at OJ Atogwe getting released by the Eagles. With all this uncertainty surrounding Delmas, OJ might be able to come in and help right away. And when Delmas does come back, the duo of OJ and Delmas would be outstanding.
That, and he'd be cheap.

That means they're keeping green. I'm surprised miller was cut. He's better than smith and green at this point.
Brown played well enough to get a spot on damn near any squad. At least fluellen got canned.

That, and he'd be cheap. OJ'd been dealing with hamstring issues all camp. He can't stay healthy right now. If it just a one-time injury, they would have kept him, but it's been lingering all camp. Players like him will end up being signed after week 1 when their salary isn't guaranteed.

Brown played well enough to get a spot on damn near any squad. At least fluellen got canned. Brown played well enough to play for everyone, but he wasn't better than any of the DE's we currently have. It's a depth issue. As for Green, I don't think they believed he'd last through waivers. He's rough, but you can't teach speed. We kept 5, and we usually play 4, so it's Houston, Bentley, with Lacy and Barnes backing up & nickel/dime. I believe Miller can make practice squad if he survives. Green was the bigger risk though.

Think they should have kept Patrick Edwards, and released Kevin Smith.
