 Classless act by Michigan State
Planting the flag in the middle of Notre Dame's stadium... that was a showing of poor sportsmanship.
I understand that it was a big game, a big win. But when you go to the center of a stadium and plant your flag, you deserve to have what Roy Williams did to Terrell Owens happen to you.
Notre Dame is a class institution, and it was incredibly disrespectful to have Michigan State end the game in which both teams fought hard for.

I thought it was pretty funny...even as good as throwing water bottles onto the field..
Personally..I would of did the flag thing
Then ask a teamate of mine to hold the ball while I attempt a field goal (mocking them)

It was Darren Woodson. I thought it was a little over the top. MSU should hope not to lose to ND next year in Lansing........could be ugly as I'm sure this hurt some feelings along with a little pride.

Maybe STATE should have let ND win, out of respect for the 75 year thing.
Nobody droped their pants, or started f**k**g the ND symbol ala fab 5 u of m payers on MSU court. I dont see it as a team disrepect thing, just a few players as in the pic. I cant imagine John L said go plant the flag boys!

I'm with Brian on this one. You win, you celebrate, but you do it tastefully. You don't be a-holes and paint your flag in the middle of their field.

Then let me ask you this.
Do you think these players should be punished?

No, these are college kids excited about a big win. They should be told that what they did was wrong and not the proper way to celebrate but should not be punished.

A lot of teams do celebrations, some take it far, but I dont see where the problem is?, if someone gets mad then they get mad they just dont have the bragging rights untill they beat the team next time. I agree with legend they celebrate a big win, let them have their fun because they might not get another chance for something like that.
