Re: GAME DAY THREAD: Lions vs. Titans
We haven't been able to tackle well for about 5 seasons. We need to get a tackling coach in here. Also, Stafford is hurt so that's great. I can't believe we lost to the Titans. This was a terrible game for the D and special teams. Thought Houston and Bently would make a difference, but we gave up two HUGE TDs.

Anybody care to defend the refs now?

Re: GAME DAY THREAD: Lions vs. Titans
Chicago took care of the Rams, who we struggled against.
The Vikings beat the 49ers, who we lost to.
We lost to the Titans, who had no offense this season 'til they played us.
Right now, I'm drinking the anti-kool aid. It's not looking good.

Right now, I'm drinking the anti-kool aid. It's not looking good. Definitely have that old Lions "magic" of finding a way to lose instead of win. Secondary is worse than advertised. LBs are often outmatched. Offense is inconsistent unless playing from behind. You name it, it's an issue.

Re: GAME DAY THREAD: Lions vs. Titans
This game was only close thanks to the refs, many, many blown calls

Re: GAME DAY THREAD: Lions vs. Titans
Anybody watching the press conference?? Raiola snapped the ball when he wasn't supposed to. They were trying to draw the Titans offsides and then call the TO and kick it if they didn't get the penalty. When the heck are we going to replace him?

Re: GAME DAY THREAD: Lions vs. Titans
Meh, the refs botched it both ways at times (CJ reception overturned because he dropped it out of bounds thanks to helmet to helmet that got ignored, for one example). I reckon overall the Titans got the better rub of the green. But what I am sure about is that this is not the kind of game where we should be able to allow the refs to have an influence if we are the kind of team we think we are (or, at least, I thought we were!).
