Pick up the pieces. Week 4 Minny comes to town. predictions.
It's time to forget week 3 and start focusing on week 4. If we don't beat Minny in our house, SEASON OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Start tracking our draft pick.
For this reason, I think the Lions get their heads out of their butts and kick the Vikings where it hurts. Lions will win a close one on a last minute FG.

So, if we lose this one, the season is pretty much done except for finding out which draft pick belongs to us.

Let alone, Lions win by 10.

In 1995 we were 3-6 and won the last 7 games to be 10-6 and made the playoffs. I don't see a comeback like that happening.

Stafford will play, and will go off. I'm talking 300+ yards, 4 TDs, no throws even close to being picked. We will approach this game like we did the San Diego game last year. Mikel goes hard in this game, too; around 110 yards and a TD. Christian Ponder is hurried all game as the defensive line will understand how to counter what offensive lineman have been doing to neutralize them this season (playing a bit off of Avril to avoid his high motor having an impact, for example), and overall make a statement that this line is for real. Also, last season Cliff had 0 sacks through the first 3 weeks, and finished with 11. He will get his first one or two this game. Adrian Peterson is held to 65 yards and a goal-line TD, Minny rushes for 95 total yards, Ponder throws a pick and passes for under 200 yards. Final Score; Lions: 38, Vikings: 17
THIS is the game that gets our season back on track. Those two losses to SF and Tennessee did hurt, but may help in the long run since we understand our team a lot more.

I'm shocked to say this in week 4, but I think it is season over. Detroit's D is terrible, and Leslie Frazier will have the Vikes in cover 2.

You move CJ to the slot. We eventually start beating the 2 deep in every game, but our defense has been stinky enough to not keep us in it.

Our defense hasn't been great by any means but IMO they are the only thing keeping us in any games and the reason we have 1 win.... Vs STL they were great, vs SF they made enough stops jst the offense was horrible, and vs Tennessee 21 points weren't even there fault. They were pretty bad vs Tennesee but even then they got us enough stops we just didn't convert on offense.

Yeah in STL they were real good, SF was more like bend but didn't break every time, not to bad but not real good either and TN it didn't really matter because ST was so bad. The D played good in the 2nd half for the most part though, first half not so much

That soft zone crap is just asking for big plays. Don't forget Jerome Simpson comes off suspension this week, so it'll be interesting to see if Houston gets locked on him and if Bentley can keep up with Harvin. Simpson being rusty should make that an easier matchup though.
