I think there the opposite of cute, they play so non aggressive and by the book until they are down 20. I swear the gameplan is scripted, which isn't a bad thing if it was working. I've said it before but it's pretty sad when as a fan, you can guess almost every play the Lions are doing early in the games. If I can guess it, you know the other team who has unlimited access to film is guessing it...

From what I understand it is normal for teams to script the first 'x number' of plays ~15-20. I do agree they seem to be late to adjust..sometimes waiting until halftime; they need to do in-game / on the fly adjustments IMO

Yeah but read after the comma, a scripted gameplan is fine if it's working...but if it isn't why keep going with it? Plus it'd be nice if you switch it up week to week

Exactly. its like the Lions are trying to "Impose their will" with the whole "You know what we are going to do, but we are going to do it anyways" except we dont have the talent or will to impose anything. We only perform well when desperate or facing far inferior talent (like college talent, lol).
