anyone interested in signing kellen winslow jr.? he was just released by the pats and our TE group needs a kick in the butt(all of them).

Thats not a good sign.... EDIT TO ADD: plus we are BROKE..i dont think we can rub 2 nickles together at this point. He's a big name and would prolly be able to get a decent contract somewhere

Well all this is moot, because Kellen can't play anymore, at least for this season. He asked for his release from the Pats due to pain in the knee.

Sure. Why not? Let's give him a try. Could things get any worse than they are now? (End of 3rd qtr, Minn leading 20-6.) This season is now officially over, so why not try some other players and see if we can find some upgrades.
