correct me if im wrong but doesnt that make 2 teams in 1 year that has released him? Thats not a good sign....

EDIT TO ADD: plus we are BROKE..i dont think we can rub 2 nickles together at this point. He's a big name and would prolly be able to get a decent contract somewhere

In 2004 Matt Millen had KWIII and Roy Williams ranked a tie at the top of their draft board. What more do you need to know?

Well all this is moot, because Kellen can't play anymore, at least for this season. He asked for his release from the Pats due to pain in the knee.

I was about to come post that exact same thing. Sounds like his playing days are done.

Sure. Why not? Let's give him a try. Could things get any worse than they are now? (End of 3rd qtr, Minn leading 20-6.) This season is now officially over, so why not try some other players and see if we can find some upgrades.

Yeah, I hear the packers are firing everybody too and starting from ground zero. It's what all the cool kids do.

The Packers at least have a recent history of success and a Superbowl championship. Are the Packers losing in this sort of a fashion? They know they won the Seattle game.
