1st qtr of season is through, and the fat lady is already warming up.
This is a 7-9 team, if lucky.
Also, Free tickets available for the Fire Crossman Bandwagon.

ST once again gave up huge plays. Our vaunted offense once again sputtered and stuttered. We are in for a rough stretch for the next few weeks.

Re: GAME DAY THREAD: Lions vs. Vikings I
ST awful. Absolutely terrible.
Offense terrible. Stafford has been poor, the receivers even worse with the drops. Leshoure was very bad - zero patience to allow blocks to develop plus the fumble, awful.
Defense were ok.
Worst game as a Lions fan in a long time. Not a single redeeming feature that I saw.

Re: GAME DAY THREAD: Lions vs. Vikings I
I'm glad we have a bye, next week. I can't stomach any more Lion's football. Crossman should be fired 10 minutes ago, and we could use the bye to let the new guy settle in. It just pisses me off that the defense shows up and gives up only 6pts and we still lose.

There were a few times that Stafford got flushed and had to scramble, but at these times and others it seemed that nobody was open. And the frickin' drops, come on!! Besides the fumble, I think we have a good back in Leshore, just need an o line that can open or block. The D line does what it can, and our LB core seems decent, but as we all feared the secondary will also be a downfall. We will be facing the cream of the crop the next few games, and we are looking like the burnt pieces at the bottom of the pot.

It looked to me like there were 2 or 3 plays where if he'd shown a bit more patience, or picked the correct side of the blocker to go round, he could have had a good gain but instead he got tackled for a loss or a 1yrd pickup. Overall, I was unimpressed this game. The run game was poor in part because of the OL, but in part because of Leshure IMO.
