Re: GAME DAY THREAD: Lions vs. Eagles
Start to look like we have a chance then blow it on offense and NOBODY covers Maclin for a huge TD. As people have said, same old Lions.

Nice to win one but they certainly didn't deserve it. Is Hanson leading the WHOLE TEAM in points scored yet?

Re: GAME DAY THREAD: Lions vs. Eagles
Linehan needs to mix up the offensive playcalling for the first three quarters. Delmas is a beast. With Jahvid Best we'll get into the end zone much more often than we have so far this season. Defense stepped up. 1 bad play won't change that. Holding that offense to 23 points on their own field is nothing short of impressive.
Now onto Chicago. If Jahvid plays, we have about a 60% chance of winning. If not, it's around 45%.

However, I have to say that I'll take a win when I can get it! YES WE DID DESERVE IT. The defense played great, we got them to respect our run game, our defensive leader came back and played at AN ELITE LEVEL(No INTs all season and we get 2 when Delmas gets back, not a coincidence), and we beat the piss out of Vick the whole game. Please help me understand why we didn't deserve that win.

Vick turns the ball over a lot. I wouldn't chock that up to Delmas completely.
Every win is deserved. Ever loss is deserved.

Titus Young Sr. is a phucking BOY. Time to see what Ryan Broyles can do

We won, the defense had a good game, ST held their own, and while Stafford looked horrid for quite a few passes, they got it back on track in the end.. Glad the Lions won, on the road, in a venue they haven't won in for 30 years. A few back monkeys got shed.

Re: GAME DAY THREAD: Lions vs. Eagles
That OT performance by the defense was exactly what I wanted to see...They WANTED it you could tell. The D line wasn't going to be happy with just getting pressure they wanted blood. Even the 3rd n 31 with a 3 man rush they got epic penetration and tbh thought I saw a hold which would have ended the game but don't care I love that they won. I live in PA so this is extra extra sweet. I'll be wearing Lions gear all weeek long

Hopefully this was fairleys coming out party. The stat line is ok not great but he was making a difference. That Suh batted pass was huge too.
