Re: GAMEDAY THREAD: Lions vs. Bears I on MNF
Very surprised to hear Hogue was cut. Hopefully Miller will prove to be of more value.

Re: GAMEDAY THREAD: Lions vs. Bears I on MNF
This game will determine if the Lions have a shot at the Playoffs or not this year likely, with all 3 other NFNN teams above 500, and the O came out with 2 drops for a 3 and Out, and the D gave up a TD in a matter of a minute looking like a College D.
Its going to be a long year.

1st def drive: DL looked like it will get some pressure most of the night but Gun with a bad blitz call while Levy and Delmas both get blocked at the point of attack. Huge save by Spievey but Willie Young fooled on same play Cliff Avril stuffed earlier. There going to make the DEs stay honest w naked boot action and reverses all game
CJ terrible drop 1st drive

Harris punts are horrible - probably partly by design but he still stinks

3rd and 1, Jumbo Package has been Good with Reiff, so Instead we run a pass. If we cant get 1 yd on 3rd and 1 agaisn "Insert Team here" we dont deserve to beat that team.

Re: GAMEDAY THREAD: Lions vs. Bears I on MNF
Not sure if that should have been a safety (not sure how it isnt if when hes snapping it it is touching the line based on spot), but to give up 15 on 3rd and 11 from the 1 inch line when B Marshall is trippledcovered (but off coverage) is just embarrasing.
I am embarrased.
EDIT: Marshall Double-covered on 3rd and 2, give up 20.

Re: GAMEDAY THREAD: Lions vs. Bears I on MNF
The Lions coaches really suck this season. They have no scheme advantage. Ever. I am really starting to question my support for this group. I know the players need to perform, but it seems they plan to hang close until the end and cut Stafford loose then.

Looks like a fumble, just when we had a chance to make it 7-10 on a good drive.
Same. Old. Lions.

Hope Cutler is done for the game, Lions need a spark.

Re: GAMEDAY THREAD: Lions vs. Bears I on MNF
I am not too concerned. The bears really haven't done much on offense. A couple passes to Marshall, a long run by Forte, and a couple scrambles by Cutler. The defense looks good, especially if Cutler is limited in the 2nd half.
Our offense has had its chances. Drops passes aren't going to happen to Burleson and Calvin that often. I would be concerned if they weren't able to get open.
