I know the Lions have salary cap restrictions (I've heard they have about $2M under the cap), but their are a few RBs potentially on the trading block...

Steven Jackson, Rams
DeAngelo Williams, Panthers
LeGarrette Blount, Bucs
Mark Ingram and Chris Ivory, Saints

At this point, I don't think this Lions team should be "buying"... If anything I think we should be unloading talent like Corey Williams that may have some value, but will likely be gone next year. I really don't think this team has any shot of making the playoffs. Get rid of some of our older, higher priced vets if we can, and try again next year...

Not really what we're looking for, unfortunately.

We should have drafted Blount in the 7th round when he came out.

Steven Jackson and Deangelo Williams, if they get moved at all will go to contenders. I only hope the Packers don't add either of them.
