Post GAME DAY THREAD: Obama vs. Romney
post all your thoughts on the prez election results in this thread...

for the record, I called this election for Obama over a year ago and have to admit it looks closer than I would have certainly predicted. That said, I fully believe the election cycle continues and the incumbent wins as usual.

Don't worry GOP, the cycle suggest you win next time!

So who wins, Coke or Pepsi?

It seems that not long ago that conservatives on this site claimed that there was no way Obama is reelected. Boom!

Sad freaking day for America. I want to bash Obama and his supporters so bad right now, but I am truly saddened by what has happened. The true Obama and his agenda is now headed our way. Be careful what you wish for!

Do you understand how politics works? The House is still in the hands of Republicans and could continue to obstruct this make believe Obama agenda you speak of.

I just hate that every time you see some Obama supporter, it's a black woman who's either damn near crying or she's dancing - wtf.

And that has worked out so well over the last couple years. I know exactly how it works. More fighting and arguing, I can hardly wait for it!

Pablo: Who says there's gonna be a next time? 6 trillion dollars in 4 years, and now he has nothing to stop him, I don't think we have a next time. I think we need to get ready to start swearing allegiance to the powder blue.

Stallion: You raise an interesting point about the HOR, but you also have a President that SIDESTEPPED the Constitution of the United States because he could not enact some of his policies because of it. 2/3 of our government is now under his control. He only needs to continue to spread the wealth and increase the entitlements for so long, before the working class surrenders and joins the entitlement class.

I honestly believe with all of my heart that this is the last time that America had a chance to correct her course, and we've chosen to go full speed ahead. The days ahead will not be good for this nation, you can mark my words if they proove to be untrue, but I don't think they will be.

Welcome to the age of entitlement, step on up and get your share of government housing, medical care, food, utilities, and let us not forget the priceless and oh so collectable, "Obamaphone."

There is always a next time WE4C. I told you what would happen this election cycle, just like the last one (and pretty much every cycle since 1980 has been very predictable). I thought I could tell what would happen the next cycle, however, I'm beginning to rethink that. I was pretty sure that we would shift back to the GOP after Dems held the spot for 8 years. Problem is, the demographics are switching pretty rapidly right now and in just about every way that favors Dems.

Unless the GOP radically reconsiders its platform, it is in trouble. I think the party really missed an opportunity to align with a fast growing voter group like the hispanics the past 10 or so years - opportunity lost.

Another opportunity lost is any shift towards a third party. I hope that everyone who said that voting third party was like throwing your vote away now realizes you are no closer, in fact you have moved much further away, from fixing anything.

$6B spent on campaigns brings you the same house, senate and president. You voted for the status quo and we wasted tons of money, time and effort on it.

This was a time to send a message to all the incumbents and to both parties. It was also a time to start building towards a legitimate alternative party, no matter how slowly. Opportunity wasted for this insane country which keeps doing the same thing over and over again.

$6B on Coke vs. Pepsi and it all taste the same - disgusting.

Post Re: GAME DAY THREAD: Obama vs. Romney
maybe this is too simple to believe, but in 4 years 6 trillion dollars were added to the national debt. The ideology of this president, and his cohorts is the destruction of America. The rhetoric preaches one thing, and the actions do another. I couldn't have stated more clearly the world view of this man, in that he grew up communist, and he's instituting communist beliefs to remove the "evil United States" from it's platform on the world stage.

to your point, the financials are the quickest way to destroy a nation. Vladimir Lenin made that comment himself, and George Soros has backed it up with action. You debauche the currency, and the economy crumbles. Our dollar is no longer worth 100 pennies but about 40 to 50 per piece of paper. This is why it costs more for everything, not Arab oil issues.

(i would also like to say that had Romney won, the SE would have gone through the roof! Instead, it has fallen 300 points at present and that is backed up by what we saw after Walker was re-elected in Wisconsin. The Stock Market had a boom day, the following day post his re-election.)

So with another 4 years he now has free reign to do as he pleases and he will. He has already sidestepped the Constitution when it's convenient for him, and his cohorts have made claim that the Constitution is an encumberance to their goal. What remains to be seen is how "FLEXIBLE he becomes with Russia now" based on his comments.

back to my point, we have reached and surpassed terminal velocity, we are now in a nose dive, and may still have been under R2 but there was still hope, now we have NO hope, and we are doomed for a FULL partnership in the global village United Nations as a member nation and not as a leader.

All I can say is, "So this is what the captivity looks like? Huh, I'd of thought it was taller. Welcome to the plantation."

I find it strang that a devout Christian would ever utter the bolded phrase..... have faith brother.

Also..you conclusions and fears are a bit extreme. it's like you are playing connect the dots...but making up where to put dots yourself when you dont like the picture forming. Im not saying what you conclude can't happen...I'm just saying it wont.

Today marks the death of the United States of America, by the end of his second term we will be known as the U.S.S.A (United Socialist States of America).

I've said it before and I'll say it again, this election cycle reminds me so much of 2004.... ](*,) Granted I haven't heard anyone say they're leaving the country as a result.

The person you wanted / hoped to win didn't, get over it. We are ALL Americans and should start to act as such. Whilst we may not agree on how to achieve them, most of us have the same goals. It's high time we come together to get things done.

Go USA!
