 Eagles Cut Jason Babin
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... ers-claim/They're talking about the Lions as a possible landing spot for him, but I doubt it. He's 32 years old and probably has 1 good year left in him.

I'd be surprised if he gets passed the Jags, but he could be a nice vet stop-gap with losing KVB. Anyone have any clue why he was cut?

Apparently a big decline in his play, and I guess he wasnt going to be on the team next year anyway. The Eagles defense as a whole has been atrocious. Very few sacks. Almost no turnovers forced. They've been awful. That whole team is going to get blowed up after this year. I think you'll be seeing a new coach, no more Vick, totally new defense...they're going into rebuilding mode for a few years.
