Re: Getting ready for: The Falcons
Go Lions! I will check in chat to see, hope their are a few others. Regardless of reports, I think their is some bad blood between these two teams, and may be enough to motivate the Lions to win. Although, we have a lot of obstacles ( injuries to WR, CB) may/ could/ (insert) our downfall.

Re: Getting ready for: The Falcons
Unfortunately i felt compelled to watch this...
They're really picking on Chris Houston who is having a terrible game. Delmas looks good. Carey looks good.
Pass rush is decent, but it's clear KVB is beyond washes up. Avril looks slow and like he forgot any pass rush moves. So does Willie. Ryan's been hit about 7 times so far, at least 4 by suh.
Gunther forgets that teams exploit his D with play action and screens. The LBs all look like rectum. Tulloch is streaky but Durant looks barely average and levy straight up sucks.
CJ is amazing to watch. Sure, he's probably got 200+ targets on the year, but the guy is a beast. Staff is having a great game.
Leshoure looks afraid to really smash a hole unless its the goal line. Bell looks better.

Re: Getting ready for: The Falcons
And yet again Staff blows any attempt at a comeback with a ball thrown 3 yards behind CJ after he abused Asante Samuel off the line and ran a great route. Staff just short changed the throw for about the 100th time this year.

Re: Getting ready for: The Falcons
Even ignoring that, since its not excuse for the defense not knowing how to force a fumble, or any of our offensive players knowing how to hold onto the ball, or staff making horrible throws for picks at the absolute worst times, the CBs are flat out getting beat deep. Houston is a good CB, but not a top 15 by any means. Green looked like a clown against jones.
Carey looked good all around and delmas only looked good in run d and tackling. Coverage was adequate at best.
Love bell as a receiver. Just like how he fights, has solid hands, and generally finds the seam.

That was one of the dumbest decisions I've ever seen a football player make. Absolutely no excuse. He's worthless.

Schwartz said into the headset "that was the dumbest f*ckin' thing I've ever seen..." But what gets me is, he's been doing this crap all year, and speedy return guys should be easy to come by. Hell Justin Miller would have been a better keep. I don't understand how Mayhew and Schwartz allow this to happen. You can blame the special team's coach all you want, but Mayhew and Schwartz are the reason this bum is on the team.

Re: Getting ready for: The Falcons
You're right. Schwartz puts his dumbass out there every game and there's no reason for it. I can't see Logan being employed much longer. Schwartz was pissed and threw his arms up like wtf is wrong with him. Hell, bell would be better back there. F it, sign Tebow to return kicks, he'll be looking for a job soon...at least that would put asses in the seats, which is all ford seems to care about.
In Schwartz' defense, Logan has been good as far as return average. I mean, that's the only positive. It's just the dumb poop he does week in and week out, as gruden called out specifically, that really makes you wonder who is really running this clown show in Allen park.
