 Bacarri Rambo
Will be the best Safety in this draft but has off the field issues(hopefully lowers his stock). But if we miss on him, we will regret it.

Okay, i understand the talent he has, and there is no doubt he has some. But are you really serious about getting a guy with off the field problems considering everything this team went through last offseason?? To me, it is just not worth it. At all. I like Kenny Vacarro. I like Matt Elam. I do not want Rambo simply because of this.

Don't want to ignore the talent, but should only be considered if he slides accordingly. Janoris Jenkins slid to the 2nd round last year, and the Rams are glad he did. As for Rambo, found this profile at nationalfootballpost.com Bacarri Rambo, Georgia, 6-0, 210. He is a pure free safety with a good feel for the passing game. Rambo has good ball skills and makes plays. He isn’t a very physical tackler, but he gets his man on the ground. Two scouts said character issues could affect his draft stock. I feel like the Lions should get more of a strong safety type, Gunther has expressed the desire to have more size in the back end. This is a good year to need a safety.

 Re: Bacarri Rambo
I understand about the off field issues and yes we're in no position to be drafting a problematic guy. But when I look on last year's draft and how we past on Janoris Jenkins, who went on to return 3 or 4 int's for TD's his rookie season for St. Louis and we had zero DTD makes me sick in the stomach without causing any off field issues. He would be a 3rd Rounder or deeper, who wouldn't kill us on the cap, if we kept him on a short leash. Unfortunately we have to keep gambling on playmakers, because we have so few especially on defense.

I'm gonna pull a WJB here and say I was fully in support of us drafting Jenkins last year and in my final mock had the lions taking him. Of course I was wrong in the end, but I sure wish I would have been right.
