 Barry Sanders question
How come no one gives him credit for making the helmet visor cool?

Only a couple people I can remember having one that it looked really cool. LT in San Diego's mask and visor comes to mind. But really, why does it matter? He's considered one of the top 2 or 3 running backs ever to play. Whether he is credited with visor coolness doesn't make any difference to me.

Most of the early guys I remember wearing visors were in sunny locations - my first thought is San Diego for some reason (maybe LT). Plus, wasn't it Darth Vader who first made visors cool?

 Re: Barry Sanders question
I think Barry got poked in the eye and that was his reason for the visor. My favorite thing facemask related was always Ricky Jackson's facemask and the 800 bars. I loved it when guys like Canty, Tuck, and Lewis started bringing that look back.
