Go Stocks! Go Lions! I'd still be a seller. The market is too greedy and never learns. IMO we're experiencing a huge bubble right now and the real value of the Dow is somewhere between 10,000-12,000, if not less. There was an economist talking on CNBC, and I don't remember the exact words, but he was more or less saying that the market doesn't care about the U.S. as a whole or whether or not it goes bankrupt. It was the banking industry that they were worried about, and now that it is stable there is more confidence in the market. They basically made it sound like they don't care if the U.S. goes bankrupt, but IMO that's a horrible bet. IMO our current President is one of the worse, if not the worst President in U.S. history. His handling of the economy, debt, and deficit has been putrid.

The market could and probably will have a pullback soon.
But if I had any money that didn't plan on needing in the next 2 years, I wouldn't keep it in cash or fixed income.

Buy Gold and Silver and take physical delivery of it. Don't buy it on paper. Actually get the stuff delivered to you.

 Re: Stocks hitting new highs
Does anyone trade individual stocks? This is what I hold right now:
JC Penney Sturm, Ruger Smith & Wesson Genworth Financial MGIC Investment Groupon
and some SPY (S&P 500 ETF).
I had a few short positions, to balance the portfolio, but have closed them out.
