 NFL mock Draft game
Wasn't sure where to put this but figured what the hell some of you might not have seen it. http://www.first-pick.comYou get to be the GM of any NFL team you want. So far my best Lions Draft was Fisher at 14 and Warmack at 22 in the first round. Give it a look.

 Re: NFL mock Draft game
Yeah I kept doing new drafts, it was hard to stop. My best was Fisher at 16, Cooper at 22 and a whole bunch of other guys after that

 Re: NFL mock Draft game
Havent got to try it yet, and it sounds like fun, but any mock system that allows a guaranteed lock top 6-7 pick at 14 has something incorrect built into it.

 Re: NFL mock Draft game
It is pretty addictive...but after doing like three of four drafts, I stopped getting trade offers on the next few I did. That sucked. Some of the trade offers were pretty outrageous. In one instance Cleveland offered me a third and fourth round pick to move up one spot, while Buffalo was offering me only their third round pick. That Cleveland trade would be one I'd take in a heartbeat.
I didn't record my draft results, but I did have one really good one where all my players were rated B+ or above, my drafting and playing quality were considered A- and my overall score was in the 3800 range.

 Re: NFL mock Draft game
Pretty sure the trade offers are random.
I usually end up with 10-15 picks before I stop trading down.
Best score is 4088 or so with the Dolphins I think

 Re: NFL mock Draft game
Also Cyprien isn't lasting until the 5th round and from what I saw the Jags always take Mingo #2 and that isn't happening. Another observation is that I think they severely lower the grades on players based on character and/or injury issues. There were a couple early 2nd round late 1st round potential guys drafted in the 3rd round or later to fill positions of need and received Cs and Ds.

 Re: NFL mock Draft game
So I must admit after 1 game i see the appeal. Heres what I did. Trade Abuse to the Max,but it Didnt <3 My earlier picks. Still, full Salary Slash Mode, and near tryouts at every position. Ill break it down by Position to make it easier to judge. Yes I know its big Flaw is missing an elite OT. This goes with it Being Reiff/Fox (let them duke it out) vs a FA Vet they can bring in and Fluker. Its a youth movement. And obv I dont think its realistic with all those trades, and i would have traded 1/3rd for future year picks if I could have. Quote: Your score is: 3272 (Drafting Ability: B-, Player Quality A, Future Draft Picks: N/A) Your Picks: Round 2 Pick 5 (CINN): Kenny Vaccaro, FS, Texas (A) Round 2 Pick 6 (ARI): Alex Okafor, DE, Texas (B+) Round 2 Pick 10 (MIA): Margus Hunt, DE, Southern Methodist (B-) Round 2 Pick 11 (T.B.): Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State (B) Round 2 Pick 13 (S.D.): D.J. Re: NFL mock Draft game
3rd Try"
They can take their score and shove it, but tell me this wouldnt work for you. Still too many trade tio be realistic, but better.
Your score is: 3663 (Drafting Ability: B+, Player Quality A, Future Draft Picks: N/A) Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 5: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan (A) Round 2 Pick 4: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State (A-) Round 3 Pick 20 (MIA): Robert Alford, CB, Southeastern Louisiana (B+) Round 4 Pick 1 (JAX): Ryan Swope, WR, Texas A&M (C+) Round 4 Pick 4 (PHI): Brian Schwenke, C, California (B-) Round 4 Pick 9 (NYJ): Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina (A) Round 4 Pick 32 (BALT): Kevin Reddick, ILB, North Carolina (A) Round 5 Pick 5 (SEA): Jonathan Cyprien, SS, Florida International (A) Round 5 Pick 8 (NYJ): Kenjon Barner, RB, Oregon (C+) Round 5 Pick 32 (BALT): Chris Barker, OG, Nevada (D) Round 6 Pick 1 (JAX): Everett Dawkins, DT, Florida State (A) Round 6 Pick 3: Gavin Escobar, TE, San Diego State (A) Round 7 Pick 5: Denard Robinson, WR, Michigan (C+) Round 7 Pick 9 (NYJ): Brad Wing, P, LSU (A) Round 7 Pick 14 (SEA): Dustin Hopkins, K, Florida State (A)

 Re: NFL mock Draft game
4th and Final Try for awhile )weeks if I can stay away)....
Most realistic. Did only a few late trades to simulate the compensatory picks and a possible small trade mid-draft.
I'd be very happy with a similar result:
Your score is: 3182 (Drafting Ability: B, Player Quality B+, Future Draft Picks: N/A) Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 5: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan (A) Round 2 Pick 4: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State (A-) Round 3 Pick 3: Barrett Jones, C, Alabama (B) Round 5 Pick 7 (ARI): DeVonte Holloman, OLB, South Carolina (A) / Also Available was ILB Kevin Riddick & Nicio Johnson Round 6 Pick 8 (ARI): Gavin Escobar, TE, San Diego State (A) Round 6 Pick 19 (NYG): Braden Brown, OT, Brigham Young (A) Round 7 Pick 5: Denard Robinson, WR, Michigan (C+) / Top Rated Kicker Available Also Round 7 Pick 18 (MIA): Onterio McCalebb, RB, Auburn (C-) / Top Rated Punter Available Also
Stupid Addicting thing.
