 Re: Day 3 targets
I've been saying for awhile he looked like the best later round prospect to develop into the #2. I don't expect a ton from him this year but the tools are there to be a solid #2.

I would have preferred 2-3 others, but we did draft the fastest "tall" WR left on the board. He's faster than Rodgers and no character concerns. I like the pick.

 Re: Day 3 targets
I thought Da'Rick would slip, but had no clue it would be this far. If he or Rambo is there at #199, we might be looking at the steal of the draft.

 Re: Day 3 targets
I like the Fuller pick, he fits the body type they need and has the speed to go with it.
I wonder if Cody Davis will make it to their next 6th round pick. He came in for a visit and has great measurables.

What's your damn point? We had a punter and we drafted a guy projected to be a UDFA from APP STATE in the 5th round...

 Re: Day 3 targets
I guess the lions beat reporter is an idiot. https://mobile.twitter.com/ttwentyman/s ... 1358299136Here's more... http://www.rantsports.com/nfl/2013/03/0 ... xperience/http://www.detroitnews.com/article/2013 ... /303050429http://www.freep.com/article/20130305/S ... %20clinganI know this front office isn't the brightest, but why would they sign a guy who has no experience and washing dishes for 2 years to a mutiyear deal? It's not like other team were clamoring for him. He paid his way to the tryout.

You can't see the damn point? We're discussing whether or not it was prudent to take a PUNTER in the FIFTH round. Did you forget that? No, I don't see how the cap hit for cutting this guy is pertinent to that discussion.

 Re: Day 3 targets
its for leverage. none of the money is guaranteed anyway so if he sucks you cut him with no penalty. if he s any good you have a player under contract getting league minimum. in that situation the longer the contract, the more advantage it is to the team
